FCCS Guitar Club

I am pleased to announce the FCCS Guitar club.

During my time at FCCS, I have had many students request guitar instruction from me; therefore, I am creating the FCCS Guitar Club. We will be focusing on beginner guitar techniques including picking technique and chords. This club is open to all 5^th, 6^th, and 7^th grade students; however, students must have the following to participate: a guitar (preferably acoustic), a tuner, and a spiral bound manuscript notebook.  Students will be expected not only to bring their guitar to the club sessions, but will also need to practice techniques and lessons throughout the week. Due to the nature of this club, space will need to be limited. In the event that a student habitually does not have materials, or does not practice material adequately, he/she may be removed at the instructor’s discretion to make room for another student. If demand is high enough, more sessions may be created in order to accommodate students.

When: Mondays, 3:15-4:00

Where: Mr. Kenny’s Classroom

What you need: A guitar (preferably acoustic), a tuner, and a spiral bound manuscript notebook.
