Interesting Video debunking some myths about fighting in armor

I thought some of you may enjoy this video of two individuals showing what fighting in late medieval armor really would be like.  It really dispels the myth about lack of mobility.  Pardon the French... no seriously, the the video is in French.

5th Grade Quiz and upcoming Project

Hello everyone, this announcement is for the 5th grade. They will have a short quiz on Friday concerning their geography, 5 themes of geography, geographic features, and timelines. They will receive a study guide on Thursday. It can be found here. Typically quizzes will not have a study guide, but this is the first one, so I want them to see my expectations.

5th Grade will also be assignment a short term project, due Friday 9/12/14. Students will be creating a map from school to home. They will receive this handout.
